Theme:

The Guest for the 66th Emmy Awards Governors Ball After Party Nearly 4,000 guests at the Emmy Awards Governors Ball will experience a “kaleidoscope of color,” blending contemporary optics and lighting technologies with electrifying entertainment ,creative color concepts and fine dining. The theme and Décor are descriptions for the creative excellence, enthusiasm and richness of the television season.

Color:

Upon entering each Ball, guests will be welcomed by a stunning “kaleidoscope of color” display, overflowing with awe-inspiring saturations of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple throughout the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Texture:

For the Tablecloth will be single color tablecloth using different patterns and textures. We will also use one-color flower arrangements for varying height.

Table Cloth texture for this event will be:

1. Dahlia Purple Nylon/Spandex Paillette Sequins: “Make a statement with glitters. The glitters on this fabric are sewn into overlapping straight lines that will capture the guest eye from any and every angle. This will be perfect for tablecloth.

2. Shantung/Dupioni: Silk dupioni glow with vibrancy and texture. This silk fabric will be perfect for the chairs cover

3. Pinchwheel Taffeta -Linens are made from a high quality taffeta material with a beautiful shortened edge giving a delicate and elegant appearance to the overall look of the table.

4. Non-Stretch Sequins Lace – will be another option for the tablecloths

Décor:

Upon entering each Ball, guests will be welcomed by a dazzling “kaleidoscope of color” spectacle, overflowing with awe-inspiring saturations of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple throughout the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. These displays of shaped, color-driven light will originate from thousands of LED lights, media-enhanced Versa TUBES and lasers. The center of the room will showcase an elevated, rotating circular grand stage, home to a collection of dynamic entertainers.

Special guest vocalist and recording artist Judith Hill are one of the entertainers performing at the Governors Ball, also followed by The Red Hot Band, a high-energy Top 40 band. Extreme Beam will also captivate guests with their dynamic dance routines set to pulsating lasers. On the south end of the ballroom, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy dancers will liven up the atmosphere performing to the beats rolled by DJ CoryLive against a backdrop surrounding the “kaleidoscope of color” theme. Rounding out the evening’s entertainment will be String Theory, a mixture performance group famous for their large-scale performance installations. Three of them will be integrated into the colorful décor: two gigantic harps boasting more than 2,400 feet of brass wire, and a dual Cyclodrum sculpture comprised of 26 drums, hovering 10 feet off the ground.

“Wow Factor”

A Band of high-energy, Extreme Beam will hypnotize guests with their active dance routines.

Purpose of Event:

The purpose of this event is to gather all Emmy’s winners, losers and every one of their guest, as well as the year’s nominees and presenters at the Governors Ball for a night of celebration and entertainment.
