ASRT CALL FOR JOINT PROPOSALS FOR PROJECTS  

(China‐Egypt) 

Deadline: 30th May, 2018 

 

In the framework of the Egypt‐China Scientific and Technological Cooperation Program, Egyptian researchers from scientific centers, institutes and universities are invited to participate in the following program by submitting proposals in one of the following TWO collaborative areas:  

Life Science  Engineering and Material Sciences 

The research project is partially funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology with a maximum of LE 300,000 per project for 3 years. 

The applicant must strictly adhere to the financial limit; otherwise, the project will be disqualified. 

Duration of each project: 3 years (Implementation period: January 1st, 2019 to December 31st, 2021). 

The Egyptian Research Institution (place of work of the Egyptian researcher) bears the daily allowances and accommodation expenses of the Chinese researcher during his visit to Egypt, and vice versa. 

The applicant signature of the guidelines of good practices is required.

P.S.

Both the Principal and Co‐principal Investigators of each project should affiliate to the same institution. 

It is allowed for the private universities and research centers working in Egypt to submit applications according to this Call for bilateral project proposals. 

Both the Egyptian and Chinese researchers must submit the joint proposal within the same domain. 

Proposals submitted to only one side will not be considered.
