•  Align your goal and strategy before jumping into detail

•  Team decision takes times, but usually resulting in better decision.

•  Discover experts in your team (but don’t rely solely on them)

How to Give Feedback

•  Focus on Behavior, not Intention!

How to Receive Feedback

•  Listen Listen Listen!

•  Let your partner finish. Don’t interrupt.

•  Take note

•  Repeat what your partner had said to confirm understanding

•  Clarify what you’re unclear about

•  Don’t excuse yourself. Ask “How can I do better?”

•  Leaders should be able to manage people in various dimensions e.g up, down and peers,

•  Communication is very critical for team success. Most people know why but don’t know how.

•  Listening skills minimize conflicts when everybody wants to share opinions

•  Again, be self-aware of the impact you have on others.
