Art Science Museum Solid: They are at room temperature. The particles are close togethere and arranged in a regular pattern. They are held by strong bonds and vibrate in fixed position. They cannot move from place to place.

particles are close together and are arranged in random way. They move around each other in the liquid. The bonds are strong enough to hold them close, but weak enough to let them move around each other.
