Make your reservations today for the 7th annual Art Deco Festival aboard the spectacular RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach. This magical weekend “cruise” aboard the last of the great Maritime Monarchs will transport you back to the Golden Age of Travel for a magical weekend at “sea,” far away from the daily grind. The weekend is filled with tours, lectures, the Art Deco Bazaar, the Grand Art Deco Ball, Tea Dance, Cocktails in Historic Places®, and so much more.

In addition to being a whirlwind weekend of fun and discovery, the Festival also makes an important contribution to the ongoing efforts to preserve original Art Deco design elements aboard ship: Proceeds from the Grand Art Deco Ball are donated by the ADSLA to the Queen Mary. This year’s contribution will be directed to completing the stabilization and restoration of “Birds of the Old World/Birds of the New World,” which was begun in 2010. By wonderful coincidence, this exquisite artwork is located in the Grand Salon, which will allow ball attendees to see for themselves how their participation can and will make a difference in preserving the design legacy of the Queen.
