ADVANCED DISTILLING ON ALEMBICSA hands on experience of distilling. Class size limited to 10.
In the morning we will discuss the history of the Alembics, how to purchase, set up, run and maintain your Alembic Still. In the afternoon we will distill a local
botanical. You will participate in the loading, cooling and cleaning of the still.date: Saturday, April 24th • 9am—4pm

EXQUISITE HOMEMADE BODY CARE WITH HYDROSOLSWhat do you do with hydrosols?
Create lovely creams, lotions and eco-friendly household cleaning products without preservatives. We use organic base oils, hydrosols and essential
oils to craft wonderful products for take home samples.date: Sunday, April 25th • 11am—4pm

Presenter, Ann Harman, is a Botanist, Herbalist and Artisan Distiller. She co‐founded Morning Myst Botanics with her partner John Booth.
The business is based in Fruitland, WA on their 280 acre certified organic farm. Ann studied Botany at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. She has
been making herbal products for decades and distilling hydrosols for over 12 years. When not distilling, she teaches workshops on distilling, hydrosols and organic body care. Ann works directly with Aromatherapists, Naturopaths, Herbalists & Certified Organic Personal Care manufacturers.
She has written several articles about hydrosols for aromatherapy magazines. Ann currently has several research projects underway
that she hopes to publish in her new book about distilling.
