The most popular sport in Argentina is soccer then call it el futbol. They have made it to the world cup 16 times out of 81 times. Also they have won the world cup 2 times. Argentina is ranked in 5th place in the world!.Some other sports that are the most popular in Argentina are hockey which they call el hockey. The other popular sport is basketball they call el baloncesto.

Famous people

Some of the most famous people in Argentina is Lionel Messi. Lionel Messi was born on June 24th 1987 and still has a lot of years left showing off his skills in the pros. Sergio Aguero is also a really good soccer player. He became teamates with Messi in 2006 . Manu Ginobli is another star in Argentina. He plays basketball on the San Antonio spurs. Last year his team won the NBA title. Lastly Martina Stoessel is one of the youngest Aregentina TV actresses at 17 years of age.

The most popular Argentine dance Is the tango and it perfect for smaller settings. The Argentina tango was born in Buenos Aires in the late 1700s and is loved by dancers of all ages. Argentina's tango still holds the intimacy of the original dance and is more intrinsic than the modern tango.

There are a lot of beautiful places in Argentina. One of them is los glaciers national park which is one of a lot of national parks in Argentina. Another one is la recoleta cemetary and is one of the most famous cemetarys in Argentina if not the famous. Plaza de mayo is also a really cool place in Argentina. It is located in the capital Buenos Aires. Also there is Ibera Wetlands. The Iberá Wetlands are a mix of swamps, bogs, stagnant lakes, and lagoons. Lastly there are a lot of cool places in Argentina and those were just a few of them.

Holidays

Argentina has a bunch of holidays and way more then the US. The only month they do not have a holiday is September. Since it is a Spanish speaking country they spell the holidays in Spanish. For example they spell Christmas as Navidad. Argentina has a lot of carnivals and holidays on days that famous people died. Lastly like Argentina and other Spanish speaking countries they like to party and have a fun time on the streets.
