V acuum on a r egular basis, at least once w eekly , to ex tend the beauty and l i fe of y our r ug. A void engaging the beater bar of y our vacuum to pr event accidental pul ls and snags in the fiber s. 

Rotate y our r ug ever y few months to evenly distr ibute w ear . Rugs in high tr affic ar eas can be r otated mor e fr equently .

T empor ar y w r inkl ing is common in ar ea r ugs after they have been packaged and shipped. Rever se r ol l y our ar ea r ug and stor e in a w ar m, dr y place (i .e. laundr y r oom, sun r oom) for 2- 3 day s to help the fiber s r elax .

For w ater soluble stains (i .e. ber r ies, soft dr inks, ice cr eam, jel ly , mud),

mix a solution of 1/4 tsp. w hi te vinegar w i th 32 oz. w ater in a spr ay bottle. Spr ay gener ously and blot dr y w i th a damp, clean cloth.A r ea r ugs made of sy nthetic fiber s can also be spot cleaned using a solution of mi ld deter gent and cold w ater . For mor e di fficult stains, pr ofessional cleaning is r ecommended.

Tip: A lways t reat the affected area immediately . The longer a stain s i ts , the more di f f icul ti t is to remove. Clean using a blott ing mot ion. Never scrub your rug, as th is can damage thef ibers and set the stain deeper into the rug.
