Information Literacy
Is the set of skills needed to find, retrieve, analyze, and use information
In other words, it’s knowing what info you need, where to find it, being able to judge (evaluate) its accuracy, and using the information ethically (no plagiarizing, illegally copying, etc!)
Is life long—we never stop needing info
But everything I need is on Google! ---- NOT!!
Many library resources, including full text books and full text online articles, ARE NOT on Google
And library staff are always happy to help you in person, by phone, email, chat
Can Google top that?
This is gonna be exciting! This is gonna be exciting!
