Rent a room in Buenos Aires

1- The bathroom.

Most rooms for rent have shared bathrooms, but there are some that have private one.2 ways to find private bathrooms: ensuite (inside the room) or outside the room.

It is a good option for those who want absolute privacy.

2- Spanish/Local customs.

A great way to learn or improve your Spanish and experience the customs is living with Argentines.

An excellent way to improve your Spanish is living with locals and “forced" you to speak and listen to it daily.

Learn about Argentina culture at the hands of the Argentines and you'll know much more than the tango, mate and asado. You'll have the chance to experience local customs, learn to cook typical dishes and a you’ll have many experiences that will make your stay memorable.

3- Homestays

Don’t think of complete families when you hear us mention this term. Generally Family Houses are made up of couples or individuals who rent empty rooms in their homes.

It is a good way to save money and have someone you trust in the City.

4- La cama

Most spare rooms have single beds, finding a room with a double bed is difficult in Buenos Aires. Keep this in mind if you are looking for a room with a double bed.

The room with double bed are a bit more expensive than those with single bed.

5- Air conditioning/ Heating.

All rooms have heating for the winter (electricity or gas).And only some of the rooms for rent have air conditioning.

6- Internet.

Wi-Fi internet connections can be found in more and more houses every day. Many also have broadband Internet (cable) .

It's the best way to stay connected with family and friends.

7- Transportation.

While searching for a room, make sure that there is easy access to the public transport (Subway, Bus or Train) you will be using daily.

Buenos Aires has a very large network, more tha 100 bus lines, 6 subway lines and more than 6 train lines that pass through the city.

8- Smoke?.

In the majority of the apartments we work with, smoking is not allowed inside, only on the balcony, terrace or patio.
