Entering the Debate Contest

Question: We want to hear different viewpoints on kids’ favorite subject

Electronics. Do you think they are good or bad? Parents believe their kids are

wasting time playing on electronics or watching TV. What do you believe? Do

you think electronics are a complete waste of time or do they have their

redeeming qualities? Let us know!

Voting starts for these contests 1st, March 2014 and ends 15th March, 2014.

Winners are judged by user voting in conjunction with ChampChild.com judge\'s

voting. The Winner from each age group will get a $10 amazon.com gift

certificate. Top 3 winners from each category get an e-certificate outlining their

I think that electronics can be hurtful to the brain of a child. Who would

have thought of America’s children (us) to be the lab rats of the electronic

creators? They should be ashamed of themselves because they have destroyed

the lives of all of these helpless lab rats.

The lab rats are obsessed with the cheese (electronics). They might say

that they are useful and helpful for educational purposes, but do you really

believe that electronics do not cause bullying, rudeness, lowering self- esteem for

kids who do not have them, and even more to children.

Electronics ease the life of couch potatoes. If you think about it, in

the future there will probably be robots to serve as nannies and maids easing the

pocket, (by not having to hire one) but killing the health of a future child. If

technology continues to shape the mind of a child there will be destruction of the

human race in the communication and health area.

Kids can be hurt by technology because it helps them cheat, lose

their focus in school, become a text-o-holic, and destroy their futures. Most kids

do not understand the hurt that electronics have caused and I know because I

used to be one of them, but I have opened my eyes and taken off my sunglasses

(the lies) and I am facing the sun (the truth).

No matter how many times a child will tell you that technology is

great you should always know the problems it causes to the lab rats.
