Funds are not intended for salaries. – They could potentially cover staffing

during the grant period (July 1 – December 1) if the staff position is designed to create a way to make the project sustainable after the grant period has ended.

Sometimes ArCOP will fund projects for less than the requested amount. a) We will never fund a project for an

amount that is not possible – you might just need to scale back.

b) If this is the case, you will need to submit an updated budget prior to receiving your first grant check.

Yes, you are encouraged to get as much as possible donated. – You are not “locked in” to your budget if you get items

donated or for a lower cost.

– But please call or email me to let me know so I can approve any changes to your budgeted expenses.

– Also please record your donations. If the donor doesn’t give you a cash amount, please estimate based on your budget.
