Borough Library, Lund, Sweden

Traditional local library located on a triangular lot in central Lund. A curved plan was used to save two trees, while ‘reading boxes’ jut out through the facade to provide semi-secluded spaces for read-ing, while being in close contact with the outside.

Beestenmarkt Square, Delft, NL

Unprogrammed space redesign of a traditional Dutch city square. The design’s aim is to provide a more dynamic vertical/horizontal sectoring of the square, in place of the orthographic grid of screens currently boxing in customers of the various establishments that line the edge of the square. Proprietors are free to colonize the struc-tures as they see fit, while passersby also roam freely.

Bus station for a wide street situation, where the bus passes through the station, so that passen-gers are protected from rain even when boarding.

Residential Creative Hybrid, Antwerp, Belgium

A 800+ dwelling and creative content hub hybrid in the Zuiderdok area of Antwerp. Five apartment typologies (stacked vertically) optimized for vari-ous household constellations and stages in life intermingle with larger cultural nuclei, where resi-dents and non-residents are able to work on and exhibit their work.
