Title: Architect V (Enterprise, SOA, cloud, TOGAF)Location: Herndon, VADuration: 6 Months

Job Description:• Support Enterprise Architecture in the adoption of a SOA Strategy & Framework. Hands on experience with mobile application frameworks and API design. Working knowledge of cloud native design principles and patterns. Experience in designing and building cloud native applications on AWS is a plus. Experience with selecting and implementing API Management platforms for managing services, API's, and enabling mobile development. • Partner with Business and Data Architects to identify and design SOA services based on business processes, functions, and capabilities using technologies including TIBCO and Java. Review SOA based designs for adherence to established architecture patterns and standards. • Develop standards and frameworks which enable the identification and implementation of services within the organization. • Design service interfaces using technologies such as REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and Messaging. • Knowledge of WS-* SOA standards and specifications. • Create service design standards and frameworks which enable service design review and certification. • Support the creation of metrics and cost benefit analysis for the adoption of services within the organization. • Research and develop SOA patterns based on industry conventions and the needs of the business. • Work with Portfolio and Staff Architects to communicate and enforce adoption of EA strategies, patterns, and standards. • Participate in the high level design of business and technical services an Lead and/or participate in service design reviews. Working experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF.
