Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht and Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam host and organise the EGIN autumn seminar 2018 on 1 and 2 November in the Netherlands in both cities: Utrecht and Rotterdam. The topic of the seminar is Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Audio-Visual with the title: Let’s explore AR, VR and AV. The objective of the seminar is to discover the many ‘faces’ of these technologies and getting inspired to take the next steps in our courses. With information at this early stage, we want to inform and inspire to participate in this unique event.

DAY ONEThursday 1 November

On Thursday 1 November the program mainly deals with Virtual- and Augmented Reality. During the day a number of specialized VT- and AR companies will give key note presentations; research bureaus and publishers will highlight VR and AR from their own professional angle and will present innovative and inspiring cases showing the possibilities and also the limitations of the technology.

There is ample opportunity for the participants ‘to experience’ all of it in a number of innovative and varied workshops. The venue will be the Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht.

DAY TWOFriday 2 November

The video-based theology Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality are quite new in the Media and Communication Industry but the most rapidly changing might be the video- or lens-based sector. There is a demand for higher quality; more data is being used; 3600 video will create ‘another’ experience in your living-room; Storytelling makes commercials completely different. What will be the change for the employees and the employers?

Jan Vermoesen from Mediarte in Brussels will be the key note speaker. During this day you won’t need your decent suit, so don’t pack it. In the WORKshop, we will make our own show!No time to escape! Leaving after lunch is not possible. This is the real work!

Price for the two day’s seminar € 295 for EGIN members. Including all breaks, lunches, EGIN-dinner and the transportation from Utrecht to Rotterdam on Thursday afternoon 1 November.

The price for non-EGIN members is € 590.
