Currently, we are one of the few verification agencies whose scope of accreditation includes all the sector codes that have been

gazetted and amended. That means that we are uniquely positioned to assist you in proactively and accurately

establishing your organisation’s level of B-BBEE compliance and to verify your B-BBEE status.

HISTORY

Founding member of the Association of BEE Verification Agencies (ABVA).

One of the first eleven verification agencies initially accredited by the Department of Trade and Industry (Dti) in 2009.

One of the first verification agencies to attain approval as verification professionals with the Independent Regulatory

Board of Auditors (IRBA).

OWNERSHIP

AQRate is 51% Black Owned and 30% Black Women Owned.

B-BBEE STATUS

AQRate is a Level 2 B-BBEE contributor.

Independent assurance process aimed at verifying and validating the B-BBEE status of a legal entity.

The most accurate, independent and cost-e£ective way for businesses to establish and present their B-BBEE status.

We are often requested by sector charter councils, government and private companies to assist with the negotiating and

drafting of new B-BBEE related legislation, practice or guidance notes and legal opinions.

PRE-DEAL OWNERSHIP VERIFICATION

Generally provided to listed companies.

Allows companies to independently verify the ownership points that will be obtained on the B-BBEE

scorecard should a merger or partnership materialize between two organisations.
