ON AND DIETETICS
ERRATA
Two errors have been identified in the“Position of the Academy of NutritionandDietetics: The Impact of Fluoride onHealth” that was published in the Sep-tember 2012 issue of the Journal of theAcademy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Onpage 1443, the first sentence below“Physiology of Fluoride in the Body”originally read, “Typically, about 80% ofdietary calcium is absorbed.” The cor-rected sentence should read as follows:“Typically, about 80-90% of dietary flu-oride is absorbed.” In the Table on page1444, the column labeled “Referenceweights g (lb)” should correctly be la-beled “Reference weights kg (lb).”

The headline on the cover of the Febru-ary 2013 Journal of the Academy of Nu-trition and Dietetics incorrectly de-scribed the article by Kosova andcolleagues in that issue. The headlineincorrectly read “Sugar-SweetenedBeverage Intake & Cardiometric Mark-ers in Young Children.” It should haveread “Sugar-Sweetened Beverage In-take & Cardiometabolic Markers inYoung Children.”
