WE’RE LAUNCHING OUR SPRING COCKTAIL MENUS THIS MONTH, AND OUR LEADING MIXOLOGIST JONTY DEXTER, 10 FEET TALL, SHARES SOME HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT.

As summer draws ever closer, our cocktailians have been shaking and stirring until their arms will shake and stir no more to bring you some refreshing drinks for those (fingers crossed) long and hot summer’s days. Whilst writing the menu I was trying to think about what I would like to be sipping myself on a hot day and hopefully have come up with a few gems, but you guys will have to judge that! We’ve used as much fresh fruit as possible to highlight the amazing produce that can be found in Britain throughout the summer. Here’s a couple...

SANGRIA

_250ML SPANISH RED WINE_50ML APRICOT BRANDY (WHY NOT TRY INFUSING IT YOURSELF)_50ML COINTREAU_50ML LEMON JUICE_25ML SUGAR SYRUP

Mix together in a large punch bowl, top with Orange juice, lace with plenty of fresh orange & lemon slices, maybe even a sprig of mint for a bit of colour. The secret to a good punch is getting a good balance between strong spirits, weak spirits, juice, sour & sweet - get that down and you won’t be able stop your friends coming over.
