Combined Deacon’s Meeting and Church Council Meeting - Today at 5:00 pm in the Conference Room. Quarterly Business Conference - Today at 6:00 pm. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, May 1st at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Operation Inasmuch - Saturday, May 3rd beginning at 8:00 am. Philathea Sunday School Class Meeting - Thursday, May 8th at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Missions Team Committee Meeting - Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Operation Christmas Child - For the month of April you can make a monetary donation. It takes $7.00 to ship each box. Please place your donations in the offering plate and write OCC in the memo section of your check. Thank you for your contributions! BBQ Chicken Fundraiser - Friday, May 30th. Get your tickets to presale from Brenda Hailey. Also, they need 25 EMPTY and CLEAN gallon size milk or vinegar containers (with their lids) to store BBQ sauce or tea by May 16th. Please place the containers in the FLC kitchen. Backpack Buddies - The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. It provides children from food-insecure homes with weekend meals during the school year. We need lots of kid-friendly non-perishable food items to maintain this ministry (a grocery list can be found in the vestibule for you to take home). Food collection bins are located in the Education Building and the vestibule of the Sanctuary. The children and their

respective families greatly appreciate the weekend meals we provide. Thank you for being a part of this ongoing KBC ministry. Coupons for Military Families - One of our church members is collecting both expired and current manufacturer's coupons to send to military bases overseas. The families are able to use expired coupons, as well as current ones, at an installations' PX/BX (department store) or Commissary (grocery store). Eligible Coupons: 1) Manufacturer’s coupons only, 2) Current and expired (6 months or less), 3) There is NO NEED to clip the individual coupons. There is a collection box in the Conference Room. Please contact Alyssa Mozingo for more information. Thank you for helping our soldiers and their families!

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
