The intent of the conditional approval is to permit the contractor to bid on projects. If a conditionally approved contractor is awarded a contract, the contractor’s work should be closely monitored to verify quality workmanship is demonstrated. The Districts should advise this office of any pavement marking project(s) a conditionally approved contractor is awarded. In addition, the District should submit a copy of the contractor’s performance evaluation(s) to our office.
