Blood tests

1. FBC types and severity!2. Iron studies ferritin ( evaluate total iron available), TIBC, iron (?IDA), TRANSFERRIN ( evaluate total protein carying iron)3. HbE4. PBF size, shape, color, number5. reticulocyte counts measure new RBC produce by the bone marrow5. Stool occult blood -? GIT bleeding6. OTHERS (evaluation) - LFT ; determine liver funtion ? Underlying disease( high bilirubin ? Hemolytic anemia) - RP ( ? kidney pathology) - direct/indirect antiglobulin - cold agglutinin titre - TFT - RP
