Working away from home, a team you are surrounded with 24-7, its a uniques experience in every possible manner. However, having said that, we would like to encourage each one of you to be brave & apply to be an MC member, we can assure you that there is no experience that can equal that of a Member Committee in AIESEC India. Going abroad, meeting new people, networking, leading & inspiring a generation of AIESEC India leaders - the opportunities are limitless! general profile of the team

Please read carefully, this information is very valuable and relevant & will be checked in the interviews. Being on the MC is one of the most rewarding as well as challenging team experiences you will find in AIESEC. Especially in India, with the amount of operations & the opportunities that come with it make it essential to be fully prepared for the team. While the members of the Member Committee come from diverse backgrounds and environments, several general characteristics, skills and knowledge is expected.

The right ATTITUDEBeing open minded, flexible to working with new ideas & styles and finally resecting the values & integrity of what AIESEC stands for. Along with that, the right attitude will sail you through the experiences.

Passion for the role & love for AIESECThere is no truer example of 100% self-driven learning than when speaking about the Indian MC experience. You will be in a team of extremely competent people, constant traveling and extended moments of disconnectedness from the rest of the association. What drives you, as a person has to be aligned to your role, team and love for AIESEC!

Intellectual and psychologicalSeveral aspects of one’s personality are important and arguably essential to be a successful management team, Some of them are obvious: constant learning, systematic thinking and creativity, adaptability to change, sense of responsibility, capacity of analysis, patience listening and supportiveness.

Society KnowledgeA broad knowledge of glocal and national systems, current trends and issues facing society and cultural issues is required to ensure that the Member Committee can be a proactive facilitator of direction - one of it’s primary roles - and also maintain relevance of AIESEC’s activities at all times. Understanding of the diversity that India as a country possesses is a skill favourably looked upon - as ‘one size fits all’ does not work in India.

AIESEC UnderstandingAn understanding of our vision, values, AIESEC way, the refreshed AIESEC XP, AIESEC 2015 & the new programs and understanding of local realities is certainly something we will look for in all candidates.
