In addition to being more powerful, Legendary Companions also confer special bonuses

that alter the rules of the game.

Legendary Companion Bonuses:

Venomous: When placing Enhancement Cards, Legendary Reptile Companions can use

one of their own in-play Enhancement Cards to reduce an opponent’s companion’s ability

score by the bonus value of the card. For example, a card that grants an additional 2 SPD

could be used by a Legendary Reptile Companion to reduce target opponent’s companion’s

SPD by 2.

Friendly Winds: Legendary Bird Companions always gain +3 SPD against all non-bird

animals when attempting to withdraw their Companion Card at the end of a round.

Enchanted: Legendary Friendly Companions can discard any Enhancement Card they

have in play to reduce an opponent’s INT value by 2 for each Enhancement Card they

discard.

Cursed: Legendary Menacing Companions can discard any Enhancement Card they have

in play to reduce an opponent’s STR value by 2 for each Enhancement Card they discard.

Loyalty: Legendary Canine companions may sacrifice one Enhancement Card in play to

give to another player’s companion who gains that card’s bonus for one round. If the player

receiving the bonus levels up so does the player controlling the Legendary Canine

Companion.

Purrrrfect: If a Legendary Feline companion is tied for the win with a non-feline

companion, the Feline companion automatically wins the only victory point.

Recycled: After playing their Enhancement Cards, Legendary Extinct Companions may

randomly draw one additional Enhancement Card from their discard pile an add it to the

Enhancement Cards in play that round.

Great Flood: If a Legendary Water Companion discards an in-play Enhancement Card,

every other player must discard one Enhancement Card of the same type. For example, if a

Legendary Water Companion discards a STR Enhancement Card, every other player must

also discard a STR Enhancement Card. Enhancement Cards discarded from Great Flood

may not return to play for one round. Legendary Water Companions can discard only one

of each type (STR, INT, SPD) of Enhancement Card.
