direct mill orders, delivered to any location to meet your needs. EOT Couplings are high quality,

USA lab tested to meet or exceed API 5CT specs, and backed by a $10 Million liability insurance

policy. Sizes range from 2-3/8” through 9-5/8”, grades from J55 to P110, with standard API and

semi - premium/premium connections available. All Couplings are delivered with processing MTR

as well as coupling stock MTR. Our customers are some of the largest distributors, processors, and

EOT Coupling Manufacturing Process with Pictures

1) Coupling Stock Inspection

All coupling stock suppliers to EOT must have API SPEC 5CT 9th edition and ISO 9001- 2000 licenses.

QC of coupling stock performed before processing as per items of 7.0, 9.0 of API SPEC 5CT 9th Edition. Heat/lot/size/grade

numbers clearly marked on surface of all stock.

Third party lab testing for chemical composition, mechanical property, impact test, and elongation based on heat number

and lot number. Each lot number per heat number will have one or two test samples performed. The process of taking

samples is supervised by mill engineers, clearly marked with heat/lot/size/grade identification, and third party test reports

will be issued upon completion.

Original MTR of coupling stock digitally stored and sent to customers.

Coupling and thread parameters tested per item 10.13 of API SPEC 5CT 9th edition.

5) Magnetic Particle Inspection

100% Couplings go through MPI Testing.

6) Coupling Marking

Each coupling is marked with an indelible stencil or die stamp per API SPEC 5CT 9th Edition, along with any

requirements specified by the customer.

7) Phospating

Phosphating specs per ASTM B767-88.

Each coupling is examined to ensure there are no burrs or any other issues.

Lubrication is applied to threads to prevent rust.

8) Painting

Couplings are painted as per Table C46/E46 of API SPEC 5CT 9TH Edition.

9) Packing

Packed on strong wood pallets, each layer is secured with metal strips and separated by cardboard. The entire

pallet is then wrapped in PE film and secured further with vertical metal strips.

Each pallet quantity is designed to efficiently maximize container loading; typically 12 pallets are loaded per 20

ft. container at a maximum weight of 23.5 metric tons including packing.

Pallets are marked with customer PO number, destination, size/grade/heat, ‘Made in India’ stamp.
