The 6D Laser Systemrepresents a quantumleap in machinemetrology over previouslaser interferometers,which have only singledimensionmeasurementcapability. All six degrees oferror in each axis are simultaneously measured, resulting in an error profile withunmatched accuracy. The 6D’s compact and stable design, employs a laser-mounted interferometer,allowing the laser to be located directly on the machine.
