“We take note of the Energy Research and Innovation Workshop held in Oxford in May 2005, and will work with the IEA to:

build on the work already underway through its Implementing Agreements to facilitate cooperation and share energy research findings

reinforce links with the international business community and developing countries

efforts to facilitate exchange on their effectiveness

raise the profile of existing research networks and encourage broader participation where appropriate
