“Repeat After Me” January 29, 2009 Dear Artists, The visual and Performing Arts Department is pleased to announce that Annie Morgan, NWS, NCS, ISEA, will present our March 2009 Guest Artist Residency. Annie’s topic will be “Stretching the Limits with Painting and Collage.” Examples of her work can be seen on our website, www.vpa.mtu.edu. Annie’s workshop will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm in the McArdle Theatre (207 Walker). The registration fee for the workshop is $180.00. Participants will be limited to the first 20 paid registrants. The application form is included with this letter, can also be printed from our website, www.vpa.mtu.edu. This workshop will fill quickly, so please sign up soon. Annie is energy-filled and a truly inspiring teacher. Her work has been featured in American Artist Watercolor Magazine Spring 2005. Her workshop will focus on bringing your artwork to the next level. She will cover the image transfer process of collage and painting techniques. She will teach how to incorporate unusual papers and old paintings or drawings into new, creative explorations of collage. Annie will also present four free public lecture-demonstrations in McArdle Theatre. The schedule is: Thursday, March 19 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm Friday, March 20 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 2:00-4:00 pm I hope you’ll be able to join us for some or all of these special events! January 29, 2009 Dear Artists,

The visual and Performing Arts Department is pleased to announce that Annie Morgan, NWS, NCS, ISEA, will present our March 2009 Guest Artist Residency. Annie’s topic will be “Stretching the Limits with Painting and Collage.” Examples of her work can be seen on our website, www.vpa.mtu.edu.
