5. How does our school participate in the Title I Program?

Items/Information Shared: Focusing on student achievement by implementing research-based quality instruction and offering ongoing teacher, student and parent support

6. What are our school’s Title I (schoolwide or targeted assistance) requirements?

Items/Information Shared: We are required to ensure all children meet state academic standards

Items/Information Shared: Student achievement as demonstrated on 2018 GMAS will increase by 10ppts in

all subject areas by 2018. Teacher’s support and engagement in job-embedded professional development, aimed towards measurable student achievement gains, will increase by 25 ppts., as measured by teacher surveys by 2018. Parental engagement will increase by 10ppts, as measured by Title I attendance rosters and parent surveys by 2018.

Suggestions: “We welcome parent questions/input throughout the presentation! We want to make sure you leave the meeting informed about the Title I program as well as the opportunities the school provides to get involved.

“We also have an evaluation (copy on bright paper if possible) that we’d like you to fill out to help us improve this event for parents in the future.”
