I provide coverage to local crimes, fires, traffic accidents and select criminal trials in multiple counties. Beyond the crime beat, I also cover county government and some events.

THE DALLAS MORNING NEWS, Dallas, Texas Breaking News Intern Researched and wrote breaking news pieces for the online and print editions of the Dallas Morning News. Topics included crime, profiles and events.

ON THE RECORD MAGAZINE, Denton, Texas Staff Writer Researched and wrote several feature articles for three issues. Assisted in copy editing August issue. THE NT DAILY, Denton, Texas Intern, Staff Writer Researched and contributed news story ideas to budget. Wrote 2-3 hard news stories per week.
