WHO / WHAT: Each year The Ancient Spanish Monastery Foundation , a 501(c)(3) non-prot organizaon, proudly honors

individuals whose disnguished achievements and contribuons have provided a legacy for exceponal leadership in south Florida. The

AnnualLegacyGala is an elegant evening under the stars and a major fundraising event featuring noted inuencers in our local business

and philanthropic communies.

WHY: The Annual Legacy Gala serves as The Foundaons hallmark fundraiser supporng the preservaon of the art, anquies and

architecture of The Ancient Spanish Monastery. As custodians of this historic gem, the Foundaon is tasked with demonstrang the

historical signicance and preserving the legacy of the Monastery for generaons to come.

WHERE: The Annual Legacy Gala is held on thepicturesquegrounds of the historically designated Monastery, 16711 West Dixie High-

way, North Miami Beach, widely recognized as the oldest man-made structure in the Western Hemisphere. The Medieval Spanish Mon-

asterywas constructed inSegovia, Spain in the 1133 AD. In the 20th century the historic gem was dismantled, shipped and reassem-

bled in theUnited States and is now a popular Historically Designated site for special events, lming, classes and group tours.
