An Open Letter to Mr. Aravind Kejriwal:

Dear AK:

You are a great man.

First things first - I wasa member as well as a city Coordinator for IAC from the very

early days. Now I am a paid member of #AAP.

The reason for being a member / paid member is two-fold

1. It shows my association and commitment to the organization of being the insider

2. It also helps me give that extra endorsement, to, raise views in a democratic

fashion.

And yes, I am pro-establishment and believe in being inside and fixing things than being

a vocal critic and a random outsider.

The reason for paid #AAP membership also is because I do not believe in giving free

advice and offer free criticism. That is available in abundance in our country from its

citizens, politicians and some chief ministers. And yes, you are a great man.

Before I share my advice/ suggestion, let me also share with you, on why I am no more

a member of IAC or quit as its City Coordinator.

This started as you may recollect, during the activism days of Shri Anna Hazare, your

erstwhile guru. In one of your loud well intentioned debates, you said ALL politicians

were thieves. I made a few suggestions in both the IAC forums on areas that as aresponsible member such generalized statements do injustice and brings unnecessary

anger against politicians. I said you were going overboard and may want to exercise

restraint. I also gave in a democratic fashion my view with an issue that was different

slightly from yours. By that statement, you are a thief and a goon today, which again I

genuinely believe you are not. And yes, you are indeed a great man.

Promptly, and in a cowardly fashion, your core IAC members repeatedlydeleted my

wall posts on the Facebook wall and at one point even blocked me. I also had

messages calling me and my family names and showing the ugly side of your core team

IAC. And yes, you are a great man.

That was the day I decided to be off IAC. I had a taste of the poison that power that a

coterie wields and yet shielded from great honest leaders like you.

Again, when you contested for electionsI was fully supportive, since I believed that it

was the democratic way. Being a pro-establishment person and having given you the

gaddi of CM, I decided that I will go with your way of handling things. I decided that I
