An Enhancement of IP surveillance camera system

Cisco unified computing system or Cisco UCS server

is a 32 bit server platform for data transfer. It is made up of hardware for

computing, virtualization support, switching fabric and managing software. It is

available in two hardware versions – B-series and c-series (fabric

interconnection is not mandatory). The most efficient managing software is

Cisco UCS Manager Software which generally comes embedded with the fabric

interconnections.

IP surveillance camera system is the surveillance system of the new age. It is

similar to CCTV surveillance in function of monitoring but differs in the way of

its functioning by giving an output to the set network or an internet network for

monitoring at a distant location unlike the traditional CCTV monitoring which

required to be monitored at a close location which has to be connected with the

camera by cables. It can be made to work with the Cisco UCS server.

IP surveillance camera systems which have support for WI-FI support do not

require any cable mesh to communicate its video to the observer. IP

surveillance has pros like it transfers data in a secure medium protected and

authenticated by systems like WEP and WPA2, and it can be easily moved owing

to non-requirement of wired connection while the cons include high costing,

requirement of high bandwidth and other technical barriers.
