PROJECT OVERVIEW

Amplify Trading is a privately owned proprietary trading organisation that specialises in financial market trading, research, training and technological development.

Amplify Trading contacted us at Vi HQ after they decided they wanted to add several striking design features to their currently neutral office space in East London. The team at Amplify highlighted two key spaces to our consultants, a ten meter curved wall within their main office and a smaller wall in their training facility.

We were asked to generate a bespoke concept that would utilise their branding in order to develop a

design that would represented them without negatively impacting the light look and feel of the space. As a result our design team conceptualised an asymmetric wall mural covering that showcased a graph with an overall upward trajectory that used grids, arrows and numbers to reflect the information held on trading screens. The asymmetric design deliberately used a large amount of white space in order to create a strong visual effect that didn’t cause the room to feel overpowered. In addition we added the Amplify Trading logo to the left hand side so that good visual balance could be established.

In the training facility we applied a world map graphic and logo that created a monochromatic effect with the wall. The use of different shades of blue gave a strong professional interior design feature that suited with their brand and space.

The artwork installed by Vinyl Impression has made our dull walls interesting! We had an

awkward space with a large curved area which was a negative aspect of the room - however

with their clever design this has now been turned into an asset as the main feature of the

office.
