MouthContains maxillary and vomerine teeth.Tongue attached at the front of the mouth.Teeth are pedicellate.Use eyes to swallow.Most toads have no teeth.

EatingSwallows food wholeSticky coiled tongue in frogs & some Salamanders = bolitoglossine can extend length of head & trunk!
