Terrorism …Can it be much worse?Terrorism …Can it be much worse?

On 2nd April 2007, the LTTE terrorists carried out a bomb attack targeting a bus at Konduwattuwan, in the Ampara District killing 17 civilians and injuring 20.

The bomb was set off in the bus plying between Ampara and Badulla, when it was stopped at an Army check point.

Among the dead were a number of women and children.

Most of the victims were women and children- The hallmark of all the LTTE attacks

Where are the human rights champions ?

Where are the rules of engagement?

Women and Children –LTTE’s worst enemy?

No it’s not my child … Is it why you support terrorism?

Is their blood cheap …is it why Sri Lankans should tolerate terrorism?

I cannot have children… Is it why certain politicians find opportunity in their blood ?

LTTE has never claimed responsibility…. Is it why should Sri Lankan people tolerate this barbarism forever?

Die as a suicide bomber or be an easy kill – LTTE’s shameful policy for the women?

Did you fund this terrorism? Then this is for what your money has been used- a family killed

On 29th March, LTTE terrorists launched an indiscriminate Mortar attack at Siththandy and Morakotanchena Tamil villages in Batticaloa Killing Eight

civilians, including two children and injuring 18 others .

Among the dead are a one-and-a-half-year-old infant and a seven-year-old girl, four males and three females. There were two girls aged seven and two

and a half years among the 18 injured.

Before the attack the LTTE cadres had distributed leaflets among the Tamil people ordering them to leave their homes or to face serious consequences.

LTTE claims itself to be the sole representative of the Tamils… but most of its civilian victims are Tamils

LTTE says it is fighting for a mono-ethnic homeland for Tamils…but no other had made Tamils homeless than the LTTE itself

Eelam is for whom? –mother and her son killed in Mortar fire

Have you condone this barbarism?

What liberty have they been delivered?

On 7th April 2007 the LTTE terrorists triggered a claymore mine targeting a bus carrying civilians at Piramanalankulam in

Vavuniya. Eight civilians were killed and 25 others were injured in the attack. Majority of the victims were Tamil and Muslim civilians

Killing civilians has been the LTTE’s image building strategy in the local context

A victim blinded for life…what light has the LTTE brought for the lives of these Tamil

civilians?

An injured civilian

An injured child

Bloody scene inside the bus

On 5th April 2007 the LTTE terrorists killed four civilians whilst on a lorry transporting paddy stocks at Nidanwala,

17 kilometers south off Aralaganwila.

Unknown to the world, the LTTE has been successfully engaged in ethnic cleansing against Sinhalese and Muslims living in North and Eastern provinces

On 12th April 2007, a group of LTTE terrorists stormed Avaranthulawa Sinhalese village in Vavuniya and brutally killed seven civilians. The terrorists

dragged out the victims; six women and one male and shot them while their relatives looked on.

Six female victims, five mothers and a 13 year old girl were brutally murdered before their family members

Killing elderly women and infants is known to be a method of training young LTTE

cadres…usually child soldiers

Please Do Not Fund Terrorism in Sri LankaWe too have right to live and to defend ourselves against
