Hypnos has embarked on a new and exciting collaboration

with interiors expert Amira Hashish to encapsulate the art of sleep.

We invite you to journey with us through the collection...

A bed is an investment piece, both for your wellbeing and the style of your home, so I wanted to approach the

design as if this was a fashion item that you would buy because it suited your taste and made you feel special.

We created each of the fabric patterns from scratch and I drew on personal inspiration to create standout looks.

The collection includes The Sand, The Med and The Swan. Each bed has its own distinct personality

to correspond with three very different aesthetics.

True luxury can be found in little details, so we have paid close attention to the headboard shape,

the divan feet and the textures and colours of the fabric.

Knowing that the beds are handmade by skilled artisans is a joy. They are beautifully crafted to offer

maximum support and comfort to the sleeper, with mattresses that create the perfect environment

for sleep through natural fibres and pocket spring technology.

The result is a range we are extremely proud of which embraces new interior design concepts while

remaining true to the Hypnos ethos of quality, craftsmanship and uncovering the art of sleep.

I hope you enjoy the collection.

When Hypnos approached me to design a boutique bed collection I knew we had an exciting

project on our hands. Our vision was to combine Hypnos’ 100 years of craftsmanship

and British heritage with contemporary trends and fabric printing techniques.

This collaboration is a celebration of traditional furniture making skills, paired with the technology which enables us to

create striking beds in a new way for a design conscious customer. It was incredibly important to me to achieve this by

working with fresh talent from the British fabric industry, so we approached Insley & Nash, whose previous work has

been fashion focused, and digital fabric producer Flock, which represents young textile maker Angela Jane Johnston.

While the Insley & Nash patterns we have designed are screen printed by hand in their London workshop, the fabric

from Angela Jane Johnston at Flock uses digital printing methods to give the headboards contrasting finishes.

This is bold, contemporary luxury. With Ikat and tribal influences, the design draws

on the glamour and mystery of the desert. It is strong and elegant.

Hypnos king size continental divan is upholstered in Shuna Wheat, with smart white

and gold legs and bespoke Sand headboard. This headboard showcases the Insley & Nash

skill of hand screen printing with a metallic ink. The mattress is a Hypnos Revive Luxury Silk.

A nautical theme is combined with impressionistic patterns for an abstract effect. Blue is a soothing colour for

a bedroom and The Med incorporates different shades in a calming, fresh way. What could be more relaxing

than the view of the sea while you drift to sleep?

Hypnos king size deep divan in Imperio blue, with drawers and Med winged headboard. This headboard illustrates the

Insley & Nash technique of hand screen printing with a four colour print. The mattress is a Hypnos Revive Lustrous Alpaca.

Stripped of colour this bed allows you to focus on the geometric and graphic detail. Inspired by

Scandinavian design, this is for fans of monochrome, minimalism and edgy Stockholm style.

Hypnos king size shallow divan is upholstered in Eurotex Black 17 and Imperio Grey piping with neat

black and gold legs and Swan headboard. This headboard demonstrates the digital printing methods and

geometric style of Angela Jane Johnston from Flock. The mattress is a Hypnos Revive Natural Splendour.
