Is at Calle Moneda #13. It

focuses on non Mexican cul-

tures, with exhibit halls

grouped around a beautiful

central patio.

EX-COLLEGE OF SAN ILDEFONSO

Occupies an outstanding colonial edifice built

in1749 as the Jesuit

school of San Ilde-

fonso. Especially

worth seeing are the

Jose Clemente

Orozco murals de-

picting post-

revolutionary Mexico

that surround the main .

PALACE OF THE INQUISITION

It became the School of

Medicine of the National

Autonomous University of

Mexico. And when UNAM

moved to the Ciudad Uni-

versitaria in the 1950s, it

eventually converted in the

Museum of Mexican Medi-

cine.

PLAZA DE LA CONSTITUCIÓN

Is one of the largest squares in the

world, surrounded by historic buildings,

including the City Hall and the Cate-

dral.

It was the world's first major

skyscraper successfully built on

highly active seismic land.

METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL

This is the biggest in the American con-

tinent, containing many altars, also, it´s

principal altar is made from solid gold.

NATIONAL PALACE

The place where you can see impressive

Diego Rivera frescoes. You'll need to carry

some sort of ID in order to enter the buil-

ding.

THE LATIN AMERICAN TOWER

For stunning views of the city. Its central

location, height (183 m), and history make

it one of Mexico City's most important

landmarks.

I was the tallest

building in México from

1956, when it was built,

until 1984.

THE ALAMEDA CENTRAL PARK

Is a green garden with paved paths

and decorative

fountains and

statues, and is

frequently the

center of civic

events.

PLAZA AND CHURCH OF SANTO

DOMINGO.

To the south of the church is Plaza

San Domingo. It is flanked to the

west by the Portal de Evangelistas,

which is a Tuscan colonnade with

round arches.

LAGUNILLA MARKET

This market is a fantastic place for

those looking for furniture, clothing,

toys, records, books, and accessories

from the Twentieth century.
