AluNatur

Comparable to the natural aesthetic of wood, stone

and marble, our AluNatur range shows the beauty

of aluminum. Its unique coating system is built up

from a (semi-) transparent topcoat in combination

with a colorless pre-treatment. The primerless

system shows up the natural metal aesthetics of

the substrate below. An almost unlimited range

of (semi-) transparent clearcoats creates an

exceptional color palette.

The transparent nature of the paint implies that

regularly appearing minor substrate- and process

variations are now openly revealed. These aesthetic

variations are often of minor importance for the

total appearance. Actually, architects and building

owners often prefer a natural surface appearance

where slight color nuances and surface variations

are visible. Only by means of intensive checks and

controls we can guarantee a refined uniform surface.

This is the reason that we offer our AluNatur

range in two grades:

Living Grade: A natural surface appearance where

color nuances and surface variations may be visible.

Fine Grade: A uniform surface appearance

(observed from 5 meter distance).

Guidelines

• Order projects in one batch to minimize

color differences

• Protective film recommended to avoid

installation scratches

• End use strictly ≥ 1.500 meters from coastal areas

• No end use in heavy industrial- /

corrosive environments

• Limited end use between 30° Northern Latitude

and 30° Southern Latitude

• Minimum order quantities apply;

contact us for orders < 6.5 Mt

• Maximum order quantity in Fine Grade quality is 24 Mt

• Bare material may vary in color /

show up small irregularities

• Color samples based on 3005 alloy

• Final coated product can slightly vary from sample

• Final leadtime confirmation for Fine Grade is only

possible after coil acceptance in Euramax

(non acceptance may imply an 11 – 12 wk delay)
