Aluminium pump bolted onto diaphragm pump line

Versa-Matic Pump Company has expanded its pump line to include the new E2 2 inch aluminium bolted pump to the Elima-Matic@ range of non-stalling, non-icing, lubrication-free air diaphragm pumps.

The bolted design provides excellent sealing capabilities for leak-free operation with liquids of low specific gravity or low viscosity. The new E2 bolted’s smooth flow-through design increases flow and particle size passage up to 7/16 inch.

The E2 features NPT or BSP female connections for easy leak-free installation. The water chambers and manifolds are tapped so no fastener nuts are

needed for easy disassembly and fewer parts. The diaphragms are beaded so diaphragm bolt hole alignment has been eliminated. In addition the chambers and manifolds have cast-in bosses for easy draining, powder applications, leak detec- tor installation, and cleaning purposes.

Interchangeability among diaphragm pumps All-F10 Pump Company is introducing a new line of aluminium pumps with a 2 inch NPT threaded manifold and the capability of inter- changeability with lead- ing competitors. These pumps offer flow rates up to 150 gpm and are available with Santo- prene, Geolast, or Teflon diaphragms and O-rings. High wear and abrasion resistant valve seats of

Eccentric dec

Pump eliminates seals, magnets and cuts costs Blackmer’s C-Series Mouvex principle eccentric disc pump has been specifically designed to cut operating costs by elim- inating leaks and reducing maintenance time. This stainless steel pump is designed for use in the chemical, fine chemi- cal, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, sanitary food, agrochemical, papermaking and petrochemical markets.

“This pump provides a wide variety of industries with a better alternative to what’s been available in the past,” said Jack Spoors, Blackmer product manager. The design eliminates the inherent costs and lost profits resulting from seal failures, spills and unscheduled maintenance downtime.”

The C-Series pump is seal free, using an innovative stainless steel bellows which removes the need for mechanical seals or packing glands. Expensive magnets are not required as the

pump is direct coupled to the gear reduction unit or motor. It is designed to be flushed and cleaned in place, elimina- ting production lags caused by disassembly, and its stain- less steel design makes it ideal for sanitary applications. The eccentric disc system provides gentle handling and high- volume efficiency for shear sensitive materials, and the products carry a 3A-approval certification.

The C-Series pump is capable of handling 5000 cSt (24 000 SSU) liquids and working pressures of 5 - 9 bar (72.5 - 130 psi). It is rated to 100°C (212°F) and provides extraordinary self- priming and limited dry-run capability.

Bulge-formed parts

Transfer pumps built handle suspended solids CAT Pumps has added a complim- entary product to its high pressure reciprocating pump line, called the K series. The new W series offers solutions for many pump- ing needs including submersible pumps that handle semi-dirty liqu- ids or liquids with suspended solids and end-suction centrifugal pumps for high flow, low pressure booster, spraying and transfer applications.

The W series submersible sump pumps, submersible sewage pumps and end-suction centrifugal pumps are all built of stainless steel for long lasting performance and exceptional value. A special tech- nology has been developed to bulge-form the stainless steel components of these pumps. This process provides uniform thick- ness with no sharp angles and weak stress points.
