Alphaville Residents' Association Walking Routes Proposal – October 2015 Summary Alphaville Residents' Association was set up in 2011 'to improve our area for all who live and work in the area bounded by Dean Lane, Catherine Mead Street, St. John’s Road and Coronation Road'. We have held street parties and Playing Out days, set up a Neighbourhood Watch, taken action on seagulls and green patchworks, a street audit , and made representations on issues such as residents' parking. Two of the main routes identified in the Let's Walk Bedminster project pass through our area, namely the east-west Southville Promenade and the north-south Dean Promenade. We have been discussing short and long term ideas for how these might be improved. This proposal outlines what we wish to do up to July 2016. Consultation and discussion with residents and organisations along the routes will be ongoing. We have considered improvements in four areas: enhancing entrances (next stage); improving wayfinding (W); increasing enjoyment (E); sharing and promoting (S). SummaryAlphaville Residents' Association was set up in 2011 'to improve our area for all who live and work in the area bounded by Dean Lane, Catherine Mead Street, St. John’s Road and Coronation Road'.
