BALL VALVES
Manufacturing of ball valves is one of the main activi�
ties of Tyazhpromarmatura.
The enterprise produces ball valves DN 25–1400 mm
designed for operation within the pressure range
1.6–16.0 MPa. Ball valves for non�aggressive natural
gas, oil and oil products, water and water steam are
in serial production. The company manufactures the
whole product range of ball valves for Gazprom.

Ball valves with manual operation and pneumatic actuator
DN 50, 80/50, 80, 100 mm
PN 8.0, 16.0 MPa
Ball valves are used as a shut�off device on processing lines for transportation of non�aggressive naturalgas and other non�aggressive media with temperature from –60 up to +80 °C.Obturator tightness meets Class A according to international standards (in conformity with the Russia'sinternal standard GOST 9544�93).Connection to pipeline — welding. Manufacturing of flanged ball valves is possible.Climatic version:— mild (ambient temperature from –45 up to +50 °C),— cold (ambient temperature from –60 up to +40 °C).Different modifications of ball valves are available: with manual operation, with pneumatic actuator.The type of installation is aboveground.Ball valves are installed coaxially with the pipeline. Ball valves with manual operation are allowed to beinstalled in any position, ball valves with pneumatic actuator — on pipeline horizontal sections withactuator above.
Mean service life before capital repair is at least 20 years.The warranty life is 18 months from the date of commissioning provided that thestorage life does not exceed 24 months from the date of gate valve shipmentto the customer.
Design features and advantages:
• valve body consists of two stamped hemispheres and has one entry, whichdecreases possibility of gas leakage to the environment;
• obturator sealing is made of elastomeric material characterized by highwear� and erosion�resistance;
• high obturator tightness is ensured by constant pressing of both seatsto plug;
• obturator is done as "trunnion�mounted ball plug" with self�lubricatingbearings of metalfluoraplastic, making ball valves operation easier;
• ball valves with pneumatic actuator are provided with manual stand�by;• pneumatic actuator is provided with compressed�air brake, which
allows to refuse from expensive hydraulic liquid;• ball valves control units have integrated terminal boxes, limit switch�
es and do not require additional wiring;• control voltage — 24 or 110 V;• ball valves may be completed with electric actuators;• manufacturing of ball valves for underground installation with anticorro�
sive polymer coating is possible. DN 50 mm, PN 8.0 MPa

PN 8.0, 10.0, 12.5, 16.0 MPa
Ball valves are used as a shut�off device on processing lines carrying non�aggressive natural gas and othernon�aggressive media with temperature from –60 up to +80 °C.Obturator tightness meets Class A according to international standards (in conformity with the Russia'sinternal standard GOST 9544�93).Connection to pipeline — welding. Manufacturing of flanged ball valves is possible.Climatic version:— mild (ambient temperature from –45 up to +50 °C),— cold (ambient temperature from –60 up to +40 °C).Different modifications of ball valves are available: with manual operation and pneudraulic actuator, above�ground and underground installation.On request the ball valves may be completed with Emergency Shut Down Valves.Ball valves are installed coaxially with the pipeline. Ball valves with manual operation are allowed to beinstalled in any position, ball valves with pneudraulic and pneumatic (jet type) actuator — on pipeline hor�izontal sections with actuator above, and deviation from the vertical axis shall not exceed 10°.
Mean service life of ball valves is at least 30 years.The warranty life is 18 months from the date of commissioning provided that the storage life does not exceed24 months from the date of ball valves shipment to the customer. Ball valves MA 39025 are produced according to API Spec 6D.
Design features and advantages:
• valve body consists of two stamped hemispheres joined by welding, which prevents depressurization ofvalve assembly against the environment;
• obturator sealing is made of elastomeric material characterized by high wear� and erosion�resistance;• high obturator tightness is ensured by constant pressing of both seats to plug;• obturator is done as "trunnion�mounted ball plug" with self�lubricating bearings of metalfluoraplastic mak�
ing ball valves operation easier;• pneudraulically actuated ball valves are provided with manual stand�by (hydraulic pump);• non�flask actuator design greatly reduces hydraulic liquid volume in actuator hydraulic system;• pneudraulic actuators are filled with hydraulic liquid;• ball valves control units have integrated terminal boxes, limit switches and do not require additional wiring;• control voltage — 24 or 110 V;• ball valves may be completed with electric actuators;• manufacturing of ball valves for underground installation with anticorrosive polymer coating is possible.

Mean service life of ball valves is at least 50 years.The warranty life is 18 months from the date of commissioning provided that the stor�age life does not exceed 24 months from the date of ball valves shipment to the cus�tomer.
Design features and advantages:
• all�welded valve body, preventing gas leakage to the environment;• obturator sealing is made of elastomeric material characterized by high wear� and
erosion�resistance;• high obturator tightness is ensured by constant pressing of both seats to ball plug;• obturator is done as "trunnion�mounted ball plug" with self�lubricating bearings of
metalfluoraplastic;• extension height — on customer's request;• coating of outer surfaces — reinforced type (polymer).

allows to use electric actuator with relatively low power;• pressure relief to pipeline through sealing ring is ensured for the
case if flow pressure increases in the valve body;• possibility of repairing packing gland without block>

of different manufacturers.

Ball valves are used as a shut3off device on processing lines carrying water and steam with temperatureup to +180 °C.Obturator tightness meets Class A according to international standards (in conformity with the Russia'sinternal standard GOST 9544393).Connection to pipeline is flanged.Climatic version is mild (ambient temperature from –40 up to +50 °C).Ball valves are produced with manual operation, for aboveground installation.
Mean service life is at least 10 years.The warranty life is 18 months from the date of commissioning provided that the storage life does notexceed 24 months from the date of ball valves shipment to the customer.
Design features and advantages:• obturator tightness of ball valves is ensured by pressing "floating" chrome coated plug to O3rings madeof elastomeric material;
• low hydraulic resistance;• absence of dead spaces in the body;• capability to be installed in any position;• possibility of replacing sealing elements;• small sizes and weight;• capability to be completed with electric actuators.

Ball valves are used as a shut3off device on pipelines carrying water and steam with temperatureup to +150 °C.Obturator tightness meets Class A according to international standards (in conformity with the Russia'sinternal standard GOST 9544393).Connection to pipeline is socket, welding (manufacturing of flanged ball valves is possible).Climatic version is mild (ambient temperature from –40 up to +50 °C).Different modifications of ball valves are available: with manual and electric operation, for aboveground(chambered) and underground (into ground) installation.
Mean service life is at least 35 years.The warranty life is 18 months from the date of commissioning provided that the storage life does notexceed 24 months from the date of ball valves shipment to the customer.
Design features and advantages:• all3welded valve body (over DN 50 mm inc.), which prevents depressurization of valve body against envi3ronment;
• obturator sealing is made of special fluoroplastic, characterized by high wear3 and erosion3resistance;• obturator done as "trunnion3mounted ball plug" (over DN 50 mm inc.) requires less power during valveoperation, which allows to use electric actuator with relatively low power;
• pressure relief to pipeline through sealing ring is ensured for the case if flow pressure increases in thevalve body;
• possibility of repairing packing gland without blocking the pipeline;• ball plug is made of stainless steel (20H13);• extension height is specified by the customer;• ball valves may be completed with electricactuators of different manufacturers.
