This is my First Draft!

I felt it was strong, but it needed some new changes.

This is my second draft!

Originally I thought this would be my final draft, however it needed to be changed, I needed a knew picture and it was too pixilated.

I added knew bands as I needed to fill up the whole text box. I added a page number as it made the magazine more realistic, as all magazines have page numbers.

I added this little box, as it was supposedly a ‘exclusive’ interview, so again thought it would add to the conventional side of my magazine.

What I changed? Well I went out and re-shot, because the picture before was pixilated! And didn’t look good enough.

I made the page number smaller, so it was more conventional to real magazines, but also changed the colour of the page number so that it was more visible to see.

I also changed the ‘exclusive’ sign to different colours as I generally thought it looked better!

It has come to this, and I am very proud of my work!

Firstly I was inspired by an NME magazine on ‘Carl Barat’ and his troubles of leaving the libertines.

This article in the magazine of NME, helped me plan my magazine! I was able to think of a strong story, and helped me think of how I wanted to plan and take my picture.

I took the picture near my house by the canal. I thought the canal was an ideal spot of picture taking as water can often reflect emotions and the portentous atmosphere, helped reflect my story.
