Children’s Christmas PartyPavilion Room

A chance for your little ones to get their fancy dress outfits on and enjoy fun filled day. Starting with a very special Christmas show and continuing with music and party games, not forgetting a visit from you-know-who to give a special present to every child! Delicious kids party favorites served as a buffet on platters to your table with a jug of juice.

Come and sit close to the fire, we have stories to tell and people and a lot of animals for you to meet. With songs and music as well as a little magic you’ll hear about elves, goblins, even trolls from snowy lands and a very large white bear. A friendly little Tomten will be keeping an eye on them and keeping us all safe.The show includes audience participation, songs to sing and stories to take away. Children are invited to bring their own bear to help keep everyone safe and warm.

Participating schools, choirs and community groups will make individual lanterns in workshops on the theme of The Twelve Days of Christmas, with each lantern taking the shape of a traditional street lantern. Between 29th November and 21st December visitors to The Alnwick Garden will also have the opportunity to make a beautiful enchanted willow lantern with Santa’s elves. Keep your ticket and lantern and join our magical lantern parade on Sunday 21st December at 5.00pm.Before the Parade begins why not treat yourself and your family to a traditional High Tea in the Pavilion. With classic choices available as well as a Christmas menu it’s a great opportunity to get ready for the Parade. Meeting in the Pavilion room, the parade will begin at 5.00pm led by ‘Spark’, a magical live music, light and movement spectacular. Animated by light and music the procession will make it’s way round The Alnwick Garden creating a spectacular visual feast for residents and visitors. Once in The Garden the procession will animate The Grand Cascade creating a beautiful display of light and sound. This will be a night to remember, and get you in the festive spirit. Wear suitable warm clothing and bring a torch if you have one!


New year family fun

Celebrate the New Year in style with some old fashioned family fun. Party games, street entertainment, music, a traditional Hog Roast Carvery and much more will round off your seasonal celebrations in one big family extravaganza. You can party with our resident DJ in the Pavilion Room or enjoy a quieter atmosphere in our Pavilion Cafe.

Bookings can be provisionally made by telephone but must be confirmed within 10 days with

a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, depending on the event you have booked.

Bookings not confirmed within 10 days will be cancelled without notice.

Full pre-payment must be received 30 days prior to the event. Bookings not paid by this date

will be cancelled without notice. For bookings within one month of the event, full payment will

be required as confirmation.

When the final amount has been received, no refunds can be made. The payment cannot be

transferred to any other services within The Alnwick Garden (i.e. wine, bar drinks, etc).

For Motown Winter Wonderland Christmas Parties and New Year's Family Fun, the maximum

number of guests per table is 12. The Alnwick Garden reserves the right to join smaller parties

together.

For the benefit of other guests, we request that customers are smartly dressed for Winter

Wonderland Christmas Parties and refrain from wearing jeans and trainers.

The management reserves the right to refuse admission.

In the unlikely event that The Alnwick Garden feels it necessary to cancel the function, all monies

will be refunded or an alternative date will be offered.

The conduct and behaviour of all party guests is the responsibility of the party organiser. The

party organiser will be responsible for any loss or damage caused to any part of The Alnwick

Garden premises, or to any fixtures and equipment as a result of actions by a member of their

party.
