ALEXANDER IVANOV: «THE IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING»

Alexander was born in Nizhny Tagil, a provincial town in the Urals, the outstanding sportsmen of which have brought it world fame.

He studied at secondary school №40 and was not at

the top of his class.

But he was always ready to help.

In the ninth form he became interested in track-and-field, but nobody at that time could even imagine that

this hobby would make him famous.

In August 2013 he won the golden medal in 20 km race, which was very

important for our team as it was the first.

He did it due to his strong will, hard work, experienced trainers and the support of his family and teammates.

Though he is only 20 his wish is to win in 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Brazil.

We are sure he will as «Impossible is nothing», Alexander used to say.
