Please would you remind drivers who bring and collect children from school that they need to ensure that they follow the parking arrangements on campus. On Tuesday aſternoon, a driver had mounted the pavement by the Gym and leſt the car to collect a student. Not only was this dangerous but partly obstructed the path for students and parents. Please note that for security and environmental reasons, drivers and parents in cars arriving at school in the aſternoon to collect students in Grades 1-12 will only be permied on campus aſter 1.45pm. Thank you for your understanding. Superintendent’s Forum The first forum of the year will be held in the PAC at 7.45am and 5.30pm on Sunday 7 October. The agenda will include the organisaon of the school, IB DP Results, the School Development Plan for the year and any updates on the new campus. Simon Taylor It is with deep regret that we share with you all, the sad news of the death of former ABA parent and friend, Mrs. Millicent (Millie) Ali Rusteau. Millie was a much-loved and valued member of our community and mother of former students - Suhayl, Luluwa, Thara and Hanan, who aended ABA, 2000 through 2015. A truly commied parent, Millie served on many commiees at ABA, including the PTA where she acvely contributed to many PTA co-ordinated events and commiees. She was an enthusiasc supporter of Vipers, constantly on the bleachers, cheering on her very dedicated and talented daughters and their team-mates. She was key in fostering stronger collaborave parent/student relaons within sport at ABA. Millie was a dedicated advocate for internaonal educaon and the promoon of fostering intercultural understanding and respect. This was most clearly demonstrated by her sustained involvement in the collaboraon between ABA and the then South African Ambassador, founding the annual African Unity Ball.
