Greek engineer designed SIM card specially for

An electrical engineer YiannisHatzopoulos from Greece hascreated a unique mobile SIM cardtargeting Muslims.

This SIM card includes applicationssuch as, compass used to track thedirection of Kaa’bah, accurate timingof Muslim prayers, automatic ban onincoming calls during prayer time,access to Islamic calendar and manymore.These special features available inthe SIM application toolkit can beactivated and deactivated on

demand.

This SIM can be used on both Smartphones and as well as normal mobile devices.Despite similar SIM cards being invented before by companies like LG, the fact that thisone can also be installed in the most basic and inexpensive devices is set to make it abig competitor in the African and Asian markets.

Hatzopoulos’ SIM card will be exhibited in the African fair, held in Cape Town, SouthAfrica. Bluefish technologies will be promoting this SIM card in the Asian markets.
