Established since July 27th 1993, AIESEC Universitas Andalas (UNAND) so far, known as the only Local Committee in Indonesia that is placed outside Java. AIESEC UNAND has 3 principles that

reflect the big picture of how AIESEC UNAND work, they are Courtesy (as we living up the values of our local culture), Integrity (trust and deliver the quality) and Family (strong family bond

toward every AIESEC UNAND generation/ORI).

AIESEC UNAND has 2 specialized units there are UNP and USU, has about 84 active members and to make about 15 projects based on exchange and EwA, 1 international conference (Global Lead

Summit 2014 Indonesia – GLS on August 2014), and 65 exchange experiences.

Twenty years have passed, AIESEC UNAND will never stop refilling the energy to do more and gain more to create a big impact for this organization and society and living the AIESEC values.

Outgoing GIP established in term 2012/2013 and the function focus on 2 sub-product, which are:

AIESEC UNAND Outgoing GIP only focus on marketing and teaching to increase the quality and quantity improvement of Exchange Participants.

Outgoing GIP is open for any student, undergraduate, fresh graduate, master and doctoral, which could be ideal both for peak and non-peak season, because of their flexibility.

WIFU is a project which educates kids in orphanage

and disable schools. They are in elementary school,

junior high school, and high school. Join in a class by

teaching them English and games as well, the

students (10-17 years old).

Minang Explorer project is one of big project that will

be held in AIESEC UNAND on August which is related

with the tourism in Padang city. In this project, we

persuade international participant to join this to

know more about Padang culture as well as Padang

tourism. The purpose is want to make West Sumatera

tourism bigger and bigger so that it will be

recognized by local, national, and international

participant.
