Project description

Children's Path has started in 2008 by Natasha Voloshyna (LCP of Kyiv 2008-2009) and has gained popularity due to impact which it makes. This project aims to help orphans to find their life path, because orphans are usually ones, who are left without proper care and love.

Besides educational program (workshops, cultural presentations, games) with interns, AIESEC in Kyiv fundraises money for improvement of orphanages in Kyiv region and organizes excursions for children.

We are sure that this project makes the biggest impact, since orphans need our attention and love the most, and we develop leaders in them by giving them hope and understanding of world.

In addition to all the great members of AIESEC Kyiv, I also lived with other interns from over 15 other countries (to be honest, I’ve lost count now). Not a day was to be wasted, as we explored this great country and began making memories we would never forget. After a couple days of sharing this experience together, these people began to feel like old friends. After two or three weeks together, this friendship would reach new heights.

These 6 weeks in Ukraine really opened me up. My confidence level shot up tremendously. I made lots of friends and had an absolute blast. This summer was the best summer of my life. It taught me so many new things and moreover made me see life in a completely different way.

The whole stay was like an adventure for me, I got to eat exotic cuisines, I got to work with special kids and without doubt I could say that they were the loveliest kids I’ve ever seen in my whole life.. I’d always fondly remember the moment when one of the kids who never talked to me during the camp just came forward and hugged me lovingly as I was about to leave, the walks around Kiev, the travelling around in trams and metros, the AIESEC picnics near the river, the list could just go on and on……
