GLOBAL COMPETENCY

MODELis the only tool to define and measure what

knowledge, skills and behaviors AIESEC leaders should demonstrate in order to be agents of positive change. It is tool created to nebale individual to manage their own development and the development of

others to ensure they are living a challenging and purposeful

experience.

ASPECTS OF GCM FOR INTERN BUDDY

Development:a) Through the Personal Development Plan (EP LEAD Wiki), Global Competency Model is used to set, develop and review intern’s learning and developmentb) It can also be used individually by the intern during their inner journey reflection to build self awareness and then future development goals.

Management:a) Talent Development and Education relevant to role in order to build performance. Within iGCDP it’s not so common, however if the JD specifies, the GCM development areas should be taken into account into the personal learning plan.

! Takes an active interest in, and constantly increases awareness about, other cultures and world affairs by seeking information, opinions, and ideas from diverse sources;
