History of the AIESEC-Microsoft Global Partnership
•2003, Microsoft provided 7 internships mostly in
Community Affairs roles in the US.
•2005, Microsoft provided 11 internships. Led on-line
dialogue series about the role of technology in human
development.
•2006, Microsoft became AIESEC’s Global Partner
offering 16 internships across Europe and Middle
East/Africa region.
•2008, Microsoft was involved as a partner of the 60th
AIESEC Anniversary celebrations in Brazil.
• 2009, Collaborating around the Students to Business
(S2B) Program. Has increased our collaboration with
Community Affairs. Offered 20 more internships in this
area in Europe, the Middle East/Africa.
• 2010, We look forward to expanding the partnership to
more departments within Microsoft as well as the
geographical reach of the partnership.

AIESEC and Microsoft
Electrolux Group lacked a structured approach to recruit new
talented graduates and position them globally as an ideal
employer.
In 2003, Electrolux signed a global partnership with AIESEC
providing an internship program and employer branding central
strategy.
Our internship program is the only structured way that
Electrolux recruits new graduates on a global level for short-
term assignments.
Through 2009, there have been 160 AIESEC interns from 46
countries within Electrolux, half of which stay with the
company after their internship.
